About this safari

Your driver collects you at the hotel gate on the Belek, Antalya or Side coast and takes you inland to the safari base in the Aspendos countryside, on the land along the Köprüçay river. From the Belek area that drive is around 35–40 minutes.

At the base you get a helmet, a safety briefing and the compulsory test ride every driver takes. Whoever completes it drives; anyone who prefers not to rides in the passenger seat beside them.

Then the convoy follows the lead guide over forest tracks, dusty open ground and shallow river sections, with mud where conditions allow. You choose the short route of 18 km or the long route of 28 km when you book. The whole programme takes about four to four and a half hours from hotel to hotel, and you pay in euros on the day.

Included

  • Round-trip hotel transfer from the Belek, Antalya and Side coast
  • Instructor, safety briefing and compulsory test ride
  • Insurance during the activity
  • Helmet

Not included

  • Dust mask, goggles and bandana (goggles are sold at the base)
  • Food and drinks
  • Photos and videos

Bring with you

  • · Closed shoes and old clothes
  • · A bandana or mask and sunglasses, if you want them
  • · Sunscreen, water and a change of clothes

Good to know

  • · No driving licence is needed: the route is a private off-road course, not a public road. Drivers are 16 or over.
  • · Before the start, each driver completes a compulsory test ride; those who do not pass it ride along as passengers.
  • · Each person who comes along pays. A passenger is charged half of what the driver pays, and there are no free places.
  • · Children under 4 are not recommended: a small child can find it hard to hold on safely.
  • · Not recommended during pregnancy or with back or neck problems.
  • · Two seats side by side; a younger passenger can ride with an adult driver.

Where we collect you

The round-trip transfer is included from Belek, Kadriye, Boğazkent, Lara, Kundu, Antalya, Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı, Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Kızılot. Staying elsewhere on the coast? Send us your hotel name on WhatsApp first.

Average pickup times

Two sessions run each day. These are the average pickup times by resort area; your exact time is confirmed the day before.

Area Morning Afternoon
Konyaaltı 08:00 13:00
Lara 08:30 13:30
Kundu 08:45 13:45
Kadriye 09:00 14:00
Belek 09:20 14:20
Boğazkent 09:35 14:35

Averages, not a promise to any one hotel: the road and the number of stops shift them. Areas without a time here are still collected; your time comes after booking.

From the Belek area the drive to the course takes around 35–40 minutes, depending on your hotel. The safari runs in the Aspendos countryside by the Köprüçay, not in Belek.

Questions

Questions about this safari

How much does the buggy safari cost?
A buggy driver pays €35 for the 18 km route or €43 for the 28 km route, and the person beside them half of that. On a quad the driver pays €30 or €38. Everything is settled in euros once you are with us on the day.
How long is the whole trip?
The whole outing runs four to four and a half hours, counted from the moment we collect you until we drop you back. That span holds the drive out and back, the briefing and the test ride; where your hotel lies on the coast decides whether it is nearer four or four and a half.
Do I need a driving licence?
No. This is a private off-road course, not a public road, so a licence plays no part. What counts is age and skill: drivers are 16 or older, and nobody takes the wheel before passing the compulsory test ride at the base.
Who sits in the buggy with me?
The buggy has two seats side by side: the driver and one passenger. A younger passenger can ride with an adult driver. Children under 4 are not recommended because a small child can find it hard to hold on safely.
Where does the safari actually take place?
Not in Belek itself. The course is in the Aspendos countryside on the land along the Köprüçay river, about 35–40 minutes from the Belek area depending on your hotel.
Is the hotel transfer included?
Yes, the round trip is included from Belek, Kadriye, Boğazkent, Lara, Kundu, Antalya, Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı, Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. Somewhere else? Ask us on WhatsApp before booking.
What is included and what is not?
In the price: the hotel transfer both ways, the instructor with briefing and test ride, insurance, and your helmet. Not in the price: dust masks, goggles or bandanas, anything to eat or drink, and photographs.
What should I wear?
Dress for dirt: an old T-shirt, shorts or trousers you will not mourn, and closed shoes that stay on your feet — sandals and flip-flops are a bad idea. A bandana, sunglasses, sunscreen and spare clothes for the ride home are worth packing.
How do payment and cancellation work?
Booking costs nothing and we never ask for card details. The fare is settled in euros with us on the day itself. Change of plans? Cancelling is free as long as it reaches us 48 hours or more before your departure.
