What a Buggy Safari from Belek Costs: Driver, Passenger and Quad Fares

On the short 18 km route a buggy driver pays €35 and the passenger beside them €17.50; on the long 28 km route the fares are €43 and €21.50. Quad fares on the same course: driver €30 or €38, passenger €15 or €19. Every fare covers the round-trip hotel transfer, instructor, test ride, insurance and a helmet, and it is settled in euros when you ride.

The fare table for both machines

Every fare is per person and in euros. The figure depends on two choices: which machine you take and which of the two route lengths you book. The buggy is our flagship, a tubular-frame two-seater where the driver and one passenger sit side by side. The quad runs on the same course as a second option.

On both machines the long route costs more than the short one, and the buggy costs more than the quad at either length; the list gives every fare side by side so you can compare them directly.

  • Buggy, short route (18 km): driver €35, passenger €17.50
  • Buggy, long route (28 km): driver €43, passenger €21.50
  • Quad, short route (18 km): driver €30, passenger €15
  • Quad, long route (28 km): driver €38, passenger €19

Driver or passenger: who pays what

Whoever drives pays the full fare; whoever sits alongside pays exactly half, and that is the single reduction on offer. There is no cheaper child seat, no free place for a companion and no free spot for an infant. A guest who comes along purely to watch still pays, just like everybody else in the vehicle.

Each machine takes one driver and one passenger. In the buggy you sit next to each other, which is why a younger passenger can ride with an adult driver. On the quad the passenger sits behind and must be at least 8. We do not recommend the safari for children under 4, because a small child can find it hard to hold on safely; if one is included anyway, the passenger fare applies.

Drivers must be 16 or older, and ID shows the age. You need no driving licence, because this is a private off-road course, not a public road. Before setting off, each driver completes a compulsory test ride; anyone who struggles with it, or would just rather sit beside the driver, carries on as a half-price passenger.

What the fare covers

The price is the whole outing as we sell it, not a ride with extras bolted on. Included for every guest:

The helmet is the only piece of kit we provide. Food and drinks are not part of the fare, and neither are photos or videos.

Dust masks, goggles and bandanas are not included either. Goggles can be bought at the base; bring a bandana or a scarf from home if you want something over your face, plus closed shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

  • Round-trip transfer from your hotel in any of the 15 areas we cover
  • An instructor, the safety briefing and the test ride
  • Insurance
  • A helmet

How booking and payment work

Reserving costs nothing. We take no card details and no prepayment online; the fare is settled in euros once the tour day arrives. You can cancel without charge until 48 hours before the start, which helps if holiday plans shift.

Online bookings open from tomorrow onwards. For a ride today, send us a WhatsApp and we can say whether it is still possible; that chat works in English, German, Russian and Polish.

The safari is sold by Murat Atalay Travel Agency, TÜRSAB licence No. 11294.

Things worth knowing before you choose

The price does not change with where you are staying, as long as your hotel is in one of the 15 transfer areas: Belek, Kadriye, Boğazkent, Lara, Kundu, Antalya, Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı, Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki, Kumköy, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu or Kızılot. For a hotel elsewhere, ask us on WhatsApp first.

The day lasts about 4–4.5 hours from hotel to hotel, with the transfer, briefing and test ride counted in. The riding itself happens in the Aspendos countryside along the Köprüçay river, around 35–40 minutes from the Belek area depending on the hotel.

Pregnancy, and trouble with the back or neck, are reasons we do not recommend the ride. Since watchers pay too, someone in that position may prefer a quiet day at the hotel.

Questions

Questions about this safari

Is the €17.50 passenger price a child rate?
No. It is half of the €35 short-route driver fare and applies to anyone in the passenger seat, adult or child. There is no separate child tier.
Do we pay anything extra for the hotel transfer?
Not from the 15 areas on our list; the round trip is in the fare. For hotels outside them, ask on WhatsApp before booking.
Can I buy goggles on the day?
Yes, goggles are sold at the base. They are not part of the fare.
What happens if my test ride goes badly?
You ride along as a half-price passenger instead of driving. The test ride is compulsory and decides who takes the wheel.
Does cancelling cost anything?
Not if you cancel at least 48 hours before the tour. Nothing is paid in advance, so there is nothing to claim back.
