Transfer included from all five areas
Antalya city, Muratpaşa, Lara, Kundu and Konyaaltı all sit on the list of 15 areas from which the buggy safari fare covers your hotel pickup and the return journey. None of them carries a transfer surcharge.
Staying in the city does not change what you pay. On the buggy, the driver's fare is €35 for the 18 km short route and €43 for the 28 km long route, while the passenger in the seat alongside pays €17.50 or €21.50, which is half.
Average pickup times, and the two areas without one
There is a morning session and an afternoon session every day. For three of the five areas on this page, the owner has given an average pickup time:
Antalya centre and Muratpaşa are covered by the transfer, but no average time has been recorded for either of them, and we will not put a guessed figure in its place. Guests whose hotel sits in either of these two receive their pickup time the day before the safari.
In Konyaaltı, Lara and Kundu, too, the figure is an average for the whole area rather than a time for your hotel. Your own time also reaches you the day before.
- Konyaaltı: on average 08:00 (morning) or 13:00 (afternoon)
- Lara: on average 08:30 (morning) or 13:30 (afternoon)
- Kundu: on average 08:45 (morning) or 13:45 (afternoon)
Why this stretch is collected first
The pickup run follows the coast from west to east. It begins in Konyaaltı and works its way towards Boğazkent, collecting guests area by area as it goes. That puts Konyaaltı, Lara and Kundu at the very start of the run, which is why their averages are the earliest of all the areas that have one.
After this stretch the run carries on eastwards, so guests in Kadriye, Belek and Boğazkent are collected later in the morning or afternoon.
If a morning pickup this early feels like too much on holiday, the afternoon session is the later choice from this stretch too. The programme is the same in both sessions.
Where you will actually ride
The course is not in Antalya, Lara or Kundu, and it is not in Belek either. The buggies run in the Aspendos countryside on the land along the Köprüçay river: forest tracks, dusty open ground and shallow river sections, with mud when conditions allow.
We give no drive time from this stretch. The owner has not measured one from Antalya, Lara, Kundu or Konyaaltı, so a number here would only be a guess.
What is on record is the programme as a whole: about 4–4.5 hours from hotel to hotel, with the transfer, the briefing and the test ride included. Exact timings can vary with where your hotel is.
Booking from Antalya
You can book online for any day from tomorrow; a ride today can only be requested on WhatsApp. The reservation itself costs nothing and needs no card, and the fare is handed over in euros once you are there. Cancel 48 hours or more before the safari and nothing is charged.
On the day, be standing by the main entrance of your hotel when the time you were sent comes round. Drivers need to be 16 or over, bring ID that shows their age, and complete a compulsory test ride before setting off.
